My name is Alexander Lemuth and I am the CEO of ALESO SOLUTIONS. Actually I started out in a completely different line of work. I have been studying the martial art of WingChun since 1992 and I have been teaching in my academies in Stuttgart since 1995. Until 2008, I ran two academies that were doing very well. In 2008 I opened six more academies in a single year. Shortly after that, I was in over my head. I had underestimated the administrative workload by far. While I had an overview of everything when I was still running two academies because I was always present myself, with eight academies that was no longer possible. Information was scarce or non-existent. I received information in many different ways: via email, text message, verbally, as a paper memo, as a phone call. Many processes and procedures were lost and it was only when I hired a kindred spirit to help me organize that things started to improve. I’d say that while I used to spend 90% of my time on the joy of training and teaching and 10% on paperwork, this changed to the opposite after expanding. Now I spent 90% of the time with “crap” (organization, administration etc.) and only 10% on the core business.

I needed a solution. After much research, I came across FileMaker and I was immediately enthusiastic about it. It makes it possible to create the most complex, user-friendly software programs. I began to learn how to use FileMaker and developed such a passion for it that I decided to make it my profession. With my company ALESO SOLUTIONS I help small and medium sized companies to develop individual and customized software solutions so that they can develop a better workflow and focus on their core business again.
